3.2 Moisture Content Analysis of Organic and Non-Organic Bananas:
The moisture content was determined for both organic and non-organic banana samples using
the formula:
Moisture Content (%) = ((Initial Sample Weight - Weight of Dry Sample) / Initial Sample
Weight) × 100
Organic Banana Sample
Initial Sample Weight = 214.63 g
Weight of Dry Sample = 18.09 g
The moisture content for the organic banana sample is approximately 91.6%.
Non-Organic Banana Sample
-Initial Sample Weight = 204.71 g
-Weight of Dry Sample = 15.46 g
The moisture content for the non-organic banana sample is approximately 92.4%.
